Our mission is to craft the best, all natural, earth-conscious soap you'll love, starting with ingredients from our gardens.
From our humble beginnings in 2009 when our Founder and CEO, Tara MacWhirter began her journey into the world of homemade soap, to today where we produce over 50 different products, all homemade in our production facility on our 5 acre heritage farm, we pride ourselves on creating products that people feel passionate about.
Learn More About TaraOur soap is made from natural ingredients and is produced in small batches using the traditional cold process method. We make our soap on site, with our very own hands. Our products do not include chemicals, dyes, and preservatives and are made with renewable plant oils, natural ingredients, recyclable packaging, and are biodegradable.
Gardens are a huge part of our way of life, and listening to the ebb and flow of the nature that surrounds us helps to inspire our products and our vision. As Tara says, “sharing our gardens with our customers is our passion – whether that’s through our natural products or a relaxing visit to our garden and shoppe, we love connecting people to nature”
More than just a symbol on our logo, the Monarch represents our commitment to making a difference in our world and our community. Our goal is to increase the worldwide population of this beautiful butterfly, and in 2012 we were designated a Monarch Waystation by Monarch Watch.
Learn MoreWe’ve grown from a small soap making business to a travel destination in Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec. Guests are invited to visit our gardens, Monarch Waystation, and Shoppe. Whether you want to relax and unwind with a self-guided tour of our gardens, or pick up some new products only available in our on-site Shoppe, we welcome you to visit us.
