Glycerine is the result of saponification of the oils and is highly moisturizing and conditioning. The glycerine is removed from most commercial soaps. In fact, most industrial soap is therefore not actually soap, but a synthetic detergent bar!

It all started in 2009, when our Founder and CEO, Tara MacWhirter, fell in love with the art of homemade soap. What began as a passion project has grown into a thriving, hands-on operation producing over 50 unique products — all handcrafted in our production facility on our 5-acre heritage farm.
