Garden Path Homemade Soap's commitment to sustainability
Sustainable Tourism 2030 Pledge
To demonstrate our commitment to improving the sustainability performance of our business between now and 2030, Garden Path Homemade Soap has signed the Sustainable Tourism 2030 Pledge.
Each year, we commit to measuring and improving our sustainability performance in the following ways:
We source available, local ingredients for our products and when possible, grow them ourselves. We re-evaluate our packaging options in order to be up to date on the most recent/available environmentally-friendly packaging material both for our products and for shipping. By using recyclable, re-usable or biodegradable packaging for our products, we limit the amount of waste produced. Using organic gardening methods, we incorporate techniques such as low till, companion planting, composting and mulching. We offer environmental education through interpretive signage, a self-guided, informative property map and on site education from our staff.
