Soap Making Workshops

Curious about how to make soap from scratch?
Join us for a hands-on class where you’ll watch live demonstrations on crafting beautiful homemade bar soap using vegetable oils, lye, and water—discovering the fascinating process of saponification!

Tara will create two batches of soap featuring both fragrances and essential oils, along with herbs and flowers gathered from the gardens. You’ll learn about the chemistry behind soap making, the role of each ingredient and additive, and the fundamentals of the cold process method.

Handouts will be provided, and everyone will take home a bar of cured soap from the boutique. Refreshments will also be served!
